Sometimes patients feel that their upper lip has lengthened with ageing. There is sometimes an excess of skin between the bottom part of the nose and the red part of the lip. This lip can be “lifted” by removing some skin just below the nose, with a carefully placed incision. Risks include scarring, bleeding, and infection.

You will be seen in a follow-up clinic by Mr Marlborough after 1 week, and then again at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 6 months.
